Outliers (Malcolm Gladwell) Book Review
Updated: Apr 17, 2023
⏱ The Book in 30 Seconds or Less
In Outliers, Malcolm Gladwell takes us through his investigation of what makes societal outliers such stand out successes around the world. He takes a pretty interesting angle when it comes to explaining the reasons why some groups of people are so much more likely to be successful than others. Culture, timing, hard work, he covers it all and provides a number of different eye opening examples. Outliers was a really fun book to listen to on Audible.
🤷♂️ Who Should Read This Book?
If you're someone interested in why things are the way that they are, or where we come from, you will probably enjoy Outliers.
Read this book if:
You enjoy non-fiction

You enjoy gaining a new perspective
You are curious about what makes people successful
📚How Did I Come Across This Book?
My girlfriend has always been a fan of Malcolm Gladwell. Me being someone who enjoys reading fantasy most of the time, I'd always put off Outliers. During the first few months of 2022 I signed up for Audible with the intention of using it to "read" or listen to books that I wouldn't normally include in my before bed ritual (basically anything not fantasy or sci-fi).
🏆 My Verdict
Outliers was a really great book to listen to, it was also narrated by Malcolm Gladwell who did a fantastic job. I give Outliers a 9/10, and recommend it to anyone looking for a new book to read.
